About Nero

Meet Nero, a charming little black panther with a playful personality and a curious nature. He's a heartthrob just waiting for the right home. Along with his sister Syrah, Nero was found hiding in a culvert near a Southeast Texas bayou, far from safe. With dangers like alligators and coyotes nearby, these kittens were almost prey. Lucky for them, rescuers stepped in just in time. While Syrah often takes the lead in bravery, Nero matches her adventurous spirit once he feels comfortable. His favorite pastime? Chasing, wrestling, and creating games with Syrah. Their antics are truly entertaining. Nero is initially cautious around new people, but once he warms up, he’s a sweet boy who loves to be held. He would thrive with another feline companion, as he’s great with other cats. Dogs, however, are still a mystery to him. Slow introductions would be the way to go. After surviving the wilds of Southeast Texas, Nero is ready to leave the dangers behind for a loving home where he can enjoy cozy beds and plenty of toys. Who wouldn't want a bayou-born mini panther in their life? Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
