About Sweet Potato Llanos

Sweet Potato Llanos joined us as part of a TNR project in Ft Washington, MD. After her surgery, she was observed with mild symptoms of cerebellar hypoplasia, affectionately known as "wobbly kitty." This condition doesn't hold her back; she's an energetic little bundle who loves to play and explore. She's discovered that humans provide the best treats, especially wet food, which helped her overcome her initial fears. Now, she enjoys being held and petted. This lively kitten adores her wand toy, leaping high and chasing after it with enthusiasm. She can navigate low levels of cat trees and even manage short flights of carpeted stairs. She's currently in a foster home with other kittens, and they enjoy playing and cuddling together, making her an excellent match for another playful young cat. Sweet Potato is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FiV and leukemia. Local adoptions only in Northern VA / DC / MD area are considered, and we do not adopt to students. Kittens under 6 months should go to a home with a similar-aged active cat or be adopted with another kitten. Start your journey together! Apply now.
