About Emery The Best Hiking

Meet Emery, also known as Emmy, a delightful Greyhound and American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 47 lbs. Born on September 19, 2021, she is a charming and playful spirit who absolutely loves getting dressed up. Emery enjoyed two costumes for Halloween this yearโ€”both a vampire and a witchโ€”because she relishes the spotlight and posing for the camera. Emery has a gentle demeanor, taking treats with care and displaying a docile temperament with those she trusts. She's treat-motivated, making training a fun process. This energetic girl thrives in active environments; she'd make an excellent hiking or running companion. While she is dog-friendly and enjoys playtime with her furry housemates, she can be a little cautious around men. Emery needs someone understanding who can help her transition into her new life as a beloved pet, away from the struggles of survival. Rescued just in time from a county shelter, where she was at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding, Emery is now ready for a loving home. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and both kennel and potty trained. Located in Chambersburg, PA, Emery can't wait to meet her new family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
