About Toasty
Meet Toasty! At just 14 weeks old, Toasty has already faced more than most puppies ever should. She was found incredibly thin and suffering from a severe burn on her back, likely caused by a chemical injury. Thanks to the rescue, she's been healing and learning what safety feels like. Now, Toasty is at The Asher House, entering a much brighter chapter. She's great with other dogs, finding comfort and confidence in their company. Toasty interacts beautifully with her canine friends and would thrive in a home with a friendly, confident dog to guide her. With humans, sheβs sweet and gentle, though still warming up to being handled. Although her past makes her a bit nervous about being picked up, she seeks out the people she trusts. As she learns that human hands are kind, her joyful personality emerges; sheβll wag her whole body and flash a funny puppy smile when sheβs happy. What Toasty needs now is patience and kindness. She's not looking for pity, but for someone to show her that life can be good. Over time, the burn on her back will fade into her past, while the lovely puppy with the bright smile will remain. Are you ready to give Toasty the loving home she deserves? Apply to meet her today!
