Meet Chi Chi. Some dogs come to us with stories that break your heart. Chi Chi's tale is one of those. This sweet 10-month-old silver mixed-breed girl lost everything she knew in a single day. After her family's home tragically burned down, Chi Chi sat in the backyard, watching her world change forever. Faced with uncertainty and compelled to surrender her to the local shelter, her family had to make an impossible decision. Chi Chi couldn’t grasp what had happened. One day she had her family and her home; the next, everything was different. When we heard her story, we immediately said yes to bringing her into our care, and we’re so grateful we did. Despite the hardships she’s faced, Chi Chi remains one of the sweetest and most loving dogs you could hope to meet. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle heart, reminding us just how resilient and forgiving animals can be. From cuddling on the couch to joining in on adventures, Chi Chi thrives when she's surrounded by her people. Now, this affectionate girl is looking for a family to help write the next chapter of her life—one full of love, security, belly rubs, and joyful memories. She has faced more loss than any young dog should have to endure, but we’re confident her best days lie ahead.
