About Tilda
Meet Tilda, a smart and sassy 4-year-old mix of Shar Pei and Catahoula. Weighing in at 45 pounds, she's a big personality packed into a medium-sized frame, with a keen mind and plenty of strong opinions. Tilda is a wonderful companion who loves nothing more than snuggling under the covers with her favorite humans. Although she might come across as a little bossy, sheβs incredibly affectionate and emotionally sensitive. Having been spayed, house trained, and heartworm negative, Tilda is ready for her forever home, but she does need an experienced owner. Daily walks and outdoor exploration are essential for her, and a secure, tall fence is a must, as she is quite the athlete! Tilda thrives in a structured environment and is currently working with a behaviorist to manage her anxiety. Her perfect home would be one where she's the only pet, ideally with older, considerate kids. While Tilda can be protective and may initially take time to warm up to new faces, she is lovable and loyal to those she trusts. She's looking for someone who appreciates her clever, sensitive nature and is willing to share pizza crusts. If you think you can be the right fit for this unique girl, your new best friend is just an application away!
