About Luna

Luna is a sweet and affectionate senior Chihuahua searching for a loving forever home. At 9 years old, she deserves a soft landing after a difficult start; she was abandoned at a park, but thankfully, a Good Samaritan rescued her. After receiving vet care for an ulcerated mass on her tail, she’s now recovered and feeling much more comfortable. Though she is hard of hearing and has limited vision, Luna quickly adapted to her foster home, mapping out her environment with impressive skill. She’s looking for a calm and patient home where she can learn her surroundings at her own pace. Luna is house trained, well-behaved, and gets along with other dogs. Her greatest joy is being close to her person, and she thrives in a quiet setting. Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, Luna is ready to find a new family to love her for the rest of her days. Senior dogs like Luna often have much life left to give, and she promises to repay your kindness with unwavering devotion. Don't let her age fool you; she still has plenty of love to share. Luna needs a foster or forever home soon. Even just fostering her temporarily would be a lifesaver. Click apply to start the adoption process.
