About Plum
Meet Plum! Plum is a sensitive and sweet-natured girl who came into rescue alongside her sister, Pear. While they're not required to be adopted together, Plum is definitely the more nervous of the two. She seeks a calm, patient home that understands how to help a shy dog blossom into her full potential. A confident, friendly dog in the household would greatly benefit her. Having a steady role model will help Plum feel secure and make it easier for her to socialize and adjust to her new environment. Since sheβs still building confidence, a secure fenced yard is essential for her to explore and decompress at her own pace. Plum will thrive best in a home without children, or with older kids who genuinely understand the needs of nervous dogs and can provide her the space she requires. With a little time, gentle encouragement, and the right canine companion, Plum can grow into a happy, comfortable member of your family. Sheβs a tender soul who just needs the right environment to truly shine. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
