About Navajo
Meet Navajo, a 6.5-year-old neutered male Pit Bull mix, currently in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas. Your adventure buddy is looking for a new home and is ready for transport once he's adopted. Navajo is a sweet and affectionate dog who balances playful energy with a calm demeanor. He loves daily walks just as much as he enjoys curling up on the couch for a cozy evening. Navigating his social skills, Navajo prefers playing with one or two canine friends instead of large packs. He’s done well making new friends of all sizes; however, he benefits from proper introductions, especially with larger dogs. On leash, he remains polite and non-reactive, pulling only slightly when he's excited. Fully house-trained, Navajo can be left unsupervised without any signs of separation anxiety. He is friendly with people and gets along well with children, although some interactions with very young kids haven't been tested. It's best for him to be in a cat-free home due to his strong prey drive observed during a recent boarding stay. Navajo truly embodies love and companionship, ready to be someone’s very best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, apply to give Navajo the home he deserves.
