About Hansel

Meet Hansel! If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy boy to brighten your days, look no further than this charming pup. Hansel came to the rescue alongside his sister after a challenging start as a stray. We believe he’s a German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix, born around August 4th, 2026, so he’s set to be a large-sized dog when fully grown. Leaving his street life behind, Hansel has embraced the comforts of indoor living. He enjoys soft blankets, belly rubs, and a consistent meal schedule. This smart little guy is already making great strides in learning his puppy basics. He’s figuring out how to communicate when it’s potty time and mastering commands like "sit." Tasty treats make him all ears, ready to show off his newly learned skills! Hansel gets along well with other dogs and children but hasn’t met any cats yet. He’s excited for a forever home, and perhaps that’s with you! He’s neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Could you be the one Hansel is waiting for? Let’s make it happen!
