About Mitch

Meet Mitch, the charming 6-year-old Lab mix, currently waiting to find his forever home in Joshua Tree, CA. This affectionate boy came to us from 29 Palms alongside his sister, who has since been adopted. Mitch is house-trained and knows commands such as sit, down, and speak. He has a delightful personality that really shines when he’s out of his kennel; he settles in quickly and enjoys napping by your side. Mitch is also a certified cuddle bug. If you sit on the floor, he’ll climb right into your lap. Our volunteers have found him to be a true star, giving him the nickname Nemo due to his unique ear and adventurous spirit. He has been excellent around kids and other dogs, clearly enjoying every moment spent with people. He does have a bit of enthusiasm on the leash initially but calms down with guidance. He's patiently waiting for a family to share cuddles and adventures. Don’t miss the chance to meet this loving companion!
