About Nate

Meet Nate! Nate is being fostered in Dundalk, MD and is ready for meet and greets with approved adopters! He’s an estimated 1-year-old, weighing around 35-40 lbs, and while we can't confirm his exact breed, he's likely a Lab/Shepherd mix. His striking appearance is matched by his spirited personality. Nate has adapted swiftly to his foster home and is full of energy. He plays wonderfully with other dogs, having already made friends with over ten pups in his temporary home, running around the yard alongside them. He’s great with children too, enjoying cuddles and kisses with his 9-year-old foster sister. Nate is an affectionate dog who thrives on human interaction, often seeking out pets and snuggles. This well-mannered boy is 100% house trained, does all his business outside, and is crate trained, sleeping soundly through the night without issues. He walks nicely on a leash and is generally quiet, only barking when he hears unfamiliar sounds. Nate is also easygoing when it comes to being left alone and has not shown any signs of separation anxiety while crated with his canine companions. He’s a good eater and doesn't resource guard his food. Nate has an inspiring rescue story, having been saved as a tiny stray puppy along with his sibling Choco in Puerto Rico. We couldn't resist lending a hand in finding him a loving forever home. This special dog is waiting for a fantastic family to call his own! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
