About Benny

Benny is a handsome, long-legged fellow with a big heart and an even bigger story. His journey is one of survival, second chances, and discovering just how wonderful indoor life can be. He came from a colony of over 40 cats, where he battled life on the streets and suffered a significant leg wound. This injury likely went untreated for some time before he was trapped. During his medical care, Benny had to stay back from returning to the colony due to an infection that could have been life-threatening. But through this experience, he revealed a sweet and trusting nature, proving he wasn’t truly feral. Now, Benny is FIV positive, which means his immune system is weaker than that of a healthy cat. His leg took some extra time to heal, but with lots of TLC, he’s ready to find his forever home. He’s blossomed into a peace-loving companion who relishes the comforts of indoor life—a soft bed, a full bowl, and loving humans to cuddle with. Benny thrives in a calm household and gets along wonderfully with other cats. He genuinely enjoys having feline friends around. Despite his FIV status, he can happily coexist with other friendly cats and has cherished his time with his foster fur family. When it’s time for affection, he loves to stretch out next to you, soaking up all the love. And don’t be surprised if he shows his happiness with a little drool - it’s just one of his charming traits! Benny also has a quirky habit of gentle love bites as a way of expressing his affection. He listens when told, showing he’s learned the ropes of living with humans. After everything he’s faced, Benny deserves a loving home where he can finally feel safe and cherished. Could you be the one to offer this sweet cat his happily-ever-after?
