About Mama Tux

Mama Tux is a spirited feral cat who has spent nearly a decade in a colony in Roxbury. Along with her buddy Lil' J, she is one of the last remaining ferals that we care for daily at this feeding site. As winter approaches, it’s crucial for them to find a safe, warm sanctuary where they can live out their golden years, either together or separately, as they are not bonded. Mama Tux is ready to transition from her outdoor life to a more sheltered environment. She has been spayed and vaccinated, and she is already house trained. This gentle cat is looking for a caring home, whether it’s a sanctuary or an adoptive family willing to embrace feral cats. Given her background, Mama Tux will adjust best in a calm setting where she can feel secure and safe. If you think you can offer her a loving home, please reach out to Boston's Forgotten Felines.
