Although he's still mastering house training, he’s affectionate and enjoys the company of both dogs and cats. Living in Palatine, IL, Reese is on the lookout for a loving home where he can enjoy comfortable naps and tender care as he grows more accustomed to his new life.

Rescued from CACC, he arrived in rough shape, but his new coat is growing back nicely, and he’s on his way to looking as handsome outside as he is within. Due to some loss in hearing and vision, Reese may need a bit more patience as he adjusts to new environments, but he’s making great strides in feeling secure. Reese is all about gentle pets, snuggling, and the occasional toy, and he enjoys a simple routine. He tends to take care of his business outside before retreating indoors to his cozy home. Though he's still working on house training, he's making solid progress. This sweet pup gets along well with dogs, particularly those of his size, and he's also fine with cats. He's comfortable around older children and teens, and prefers a calm home where he can flourish. A loving family who is around often and provides lots of cozy spots to relax would be his ideal match.
