About Reece

Meet Reece! Reece is a lively 7-month-old, 45-pound female German Shepherd mix bursting with personality and affection. She thrives in an active environment and is eager for a family that can match her playful spirit. This affectionate girl is always ready to greet new friends with a wagging tail and an enthusiastic demeanor. Reece loves spending time outdoors, whether it's running in the yard, enjoying car rides, or playing with her canine pals. She's known for getting along well with other dogs and thrives in a doggy daycare environment. However, she benefits from ample opportunities to play and expend some of her youthful energy. Her training is off to a great start; she's both potty trained and crate trained. While she walks well on a leash most of the time, she may pull if something piques her interest. Reece is currently learning basic commands and has shown eagerness to learn more. It’s important to note that Reece has some resource guarding tendencies, particularly around food and toys. Her foster family is working with her on this behavior, and she would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, understanding children who can respect her space. Proper introductions with any future canine companions are necessary. Despite her challenges, Reece is a loving and sociable pup full of potential. She’s searching for a patient and dedicated family to help her continue her journey of growth and understanding. If you're prepared to welcome an adventurous companion into your life, Reece could be your perfect match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
