About Slater

Meet Slater! Just look at this stunning guy. With his striking green eyes and soft, slate-gray coat, he has a heart brimming with love. Slater appeared out of nowhere one day, and since then, he has been charming everyone he encounters. A kind woman had been feeding him, and it quickly became clear that he doesn’t just show up for meals—he stays all day, craving companionship. Slater is a true love bug. He rubs against everything, rolls over for belly rubs, and follows his feeder around, eagerly seeking affection. He loves wholeheartedly. When Slater first showed up, he was unaltered and lacked a microchip, indicating he had been alone for quite some time. Though his feeder is smitten with him, her large dog has made it clear that Slater can’t become part of her family. But Slater doesn't seem to understand that! He believes every animal he meets is a potential friend. Now, with winter approaching, it’s crucial that Slater finds a warm and loving home. He shouldn’t have to spend another season wondering where he belongs or begging for the affection he craves. Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR is committed to ensuring that Slater is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped before finding him a forever home. He is ready for what he may have never had before: a loving family. Let’s help spread the word about Slater. Somewhere out there is someone waiting to welcome this sweet boy home.
