About Lilo
Meet Lilo! Lilo came from a background where he was mostly around other dogs and had very little human interaction. Although he may thrive with another dog as a housemate, it will take time for him to adjust to new environments. At first, Lilo was quite fearful of people, but heβs learned that humans can provide both fun and tasty food! He enjoys playing fetch and tug, and he canβt resist a good butt scratch. Once he feels secure in his surroundings, Lilo reveals a goofy and affectionate personality. He thrives in a playful environment and would fit perfectly into an active family that enjoys spending time outside. Keep in mind that Lilo may need several visits from the right family before heβs ready to go home, as he requires patience and a consistent approach to build trust. A safe and structured home will help him thrive. The Schnauzers in our care have had limited human handling, so they are still learning to trust people. Weβre working on creating positive experiences with human interaction, and we hope that Lilo finds a loving home that can continue this journey.
