Meet Blue! Blue is a handsome, happy-go-lucky young man ready to find his forever home. At almost three years old, this big boy is full of energy, affection, and personality. Previously neutered, he's currently working on gaining a bit of weight and will soon be an impressive 75+ pounds of Collie charm! He adores being around people, enjoys playing with children, and gets along well with other dogs. Blue is an enthusiastic guy still learning his manners, so an adoptive family should be willing to continue his training. He can get a little mouthy during play and often gets carried away with his excitement, but don’t let that fool you; he has a lot of love to give! With a strong prey drive, Blue gets very excited when he spots squirrels. Hence, supervision around small animals is crucial. Toys seem to be a new adventure for him, and he loves each one. Whether he’s chewing on a pig ear or enjoying his favorite toys, Blue brings joy wherever he goes. Though he’s energetic on walks, he's calm and friendly during visits to public places, even enjoying outings to local businesses. He rides well in the car but prefers being up front for closeness with his foster mom. Blue is crate-trained but shows good behavior around the house and sleeps without being crated.
