About Dory
Dory, formerly known as DangDang, is an endearing Cocker Spaniel who spent her early life in a South Korean puppy mill. Rescued in April 2026, she has since enjoyed the comfort of a loving foster home, receiving medical care and plenty of affection. Dory will be traveling to the U.S. this Fall, eager to find her forever home. This sweet soul has a captivating, baby-faced charm. Her affectionate nature shines through as she gently follows her caregiver, seeking comfort and reassurance. Dory is exceptionally low-energy, making her an easy companion. She thrives in calm environments, responding best to gentle handling and consistency in her day-to-day life. Dory gets along well with other dogs but can be a bit timid during sudden encounters—understandable given she has only one eye. However, she prefers peaceful interactions and enjoys the company of humans much more. With no severe separation anxiety, this girl is usually quiet when left alone and enjoys her walks, although supervision is key due to her keen interest in snacks on the ground. Dory’s reliance on close human companionship will make her an ideal match for a nurturing family. Adopting Dory means adding a soft, loyal presence to your home.
