About Bear

Meet Bear! Bear is a ten-month-old, golden, scruffy little guy whose infectious smile is impossible to forget. He came to us from a partner shelter in the south, marked by a painful collar embedded in his neck. Yet, that detail tells you nothing about his spirit. This bright-eyed puppy, with a love for treats, radiates kindness. He enthusiastically accepts any soft, chewy treat offered, as if nothing could dim his joy. As Bear makes his way to Maine on October 22nd, he harbors none of the bitterness you might expect from his past. Instead, he is ready to embrace a future filled with warmth, safety, and abundant treats. Bear is eager to start the next chapter in his life where he truly belongs. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, and he's great with children too. This adorable boy is more than just a survivor; he's a delightful companion waiting for someone to appreciate his sweet spirit. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
