About Venus

Meet Venus! Venus is a 4-year-old, 88-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as she is. This gentle giant embodies sweetness, affection, and an incredibly easygoing nature. You'll find her enjoying leisurely walks, car rides, and a good bone to chew on, but what she loves most are the scratches from her favorite people. While she mostly enjoys relaxing, every so often she surprises you with a delightful case of the zoomies. One of Venus’s standout traits is her friendly demeanor with other dogs. She adores dogs of all sizes and has a gentle, submissive personality, making her an ideal canine companion. She's fantastic with kids and carries the calm, affectionate spirit characteristic of Great Pyrenees mixes. Venus has already mastered important household manners—she’s leash trained, potty trained, and crate trained but prefers the freedom of lounging outside her crate without being destructive. Although Venus hasn’t been directly tested with cats, her siblings have shown they're cat-friendly. If needed, we can arrange a cat test to determine if she’d be a good fit for a home with feline friends. If you’re looking for a loving companion who can fill your days with joy, laughter, and the occasional zoomies, Venus might just be your perfect match! Apply to adopt today!
