About Maki
Meet Maki! He’s an easygoing 10-month-old pup, weighing around 49 lbs, though he possesses a lean, athletic build typical of his Border Collie and Labrador Retriever mix. Maki came to us from a shelter in Arkansas, and now the spotlight is on him after his sister Hammer found a home. Maki enjoys a laid-back lifestyle and is perfectly content to lounge around the house, with occasional playtime, especially with bouncy balls. He loves to follow his people closely, often shadowing them at their feet. He’s already crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and signals when he needs to go outside by heading to the back door. Maki walks nicely on a leash and gets along well with dogs and three resident cats. This affectionate puppy is also great with kids and is highly motivated by treats, making training a fun experience. Though a little excitement is to be expected from a puppy, a bit of guidance will help him refine his manners. His foster family has adored him, and it's clear that anyone who adopts this sweet boy will feel the same way. Ready to welcome Maki into your home? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
