Paco is a 9 to 10-year-old mixed breed dog and currently weighs around 30 to 35 lbs. This gentle soul has a heart full of love and is great with both dogs and cats. He originally came to us from Mexicali, Mexico, where he experienced neglect and mistreatment. With kindness and patience, Paco learned to trust again, eventually finding a loving family for the past 5 to 6 years. Unfortunately, due to changes in his family's life, Paco now faces losing the only home he's known for so long. At his age, he simply needs a bit more understanding and care. While he may need more frequent potty breaks and could have the occasional accident, he's not a fan of the word "perfect". He just wants a soft bed, gentle hands, and a heart that sees him for the treasure he truly is. This sweet boy deserves a forever home where he'll never have to start over again. Help us ensure that the next home he enters will be his last. Paco is in Palm Desert, CA, and both adoption and foster-to-adopt options are available.
