About Sana
Sana may only have three legs, but she possesses enough personality for four! This vibrant, playful, and affectionate 18-month-old Dachshund/Black Labrador mix weighs about 30 pounds and shows no signs of slowing down. She has overcome substantial challenges, being rescued from a difficult life in Azerbaijan, where dogs like her often face dire circumstances. After a serious accident that resulted in her losing a front leg, she received the dedicated veterinary care necessary for a remarkable recovery. Now healthy and thriving, Sana is seeking her forever home. She loves following her humans around and won't hesitate to claim a lap if one becomes available. This curious girl enjoys barking about interesting activities nearby, truly embracing her playful spirit. Living in a shelter and later a foster home has taught her the joys of home life. Sana has adjusted well to routines and will need a patient family as she transitions into her permanent home. Her adoption fee is $2,000 USD, a critical contribution towards the intensive care provided during her journey from Azerbaijan. Sana is not asking for anything extraordinary—just a soft place to sleep, a yard to explore, and a loving family. She’s ready for the adventures, cuddles, and moments of joy that come with being home. Could you be the one to give Sana her happily ever after? Start your journey together by applying to adopt!
