About Goose
Meet Goose! This dapper 65-pound Great Dane mix is just nine months old, brimming with love and energy. Heโs already house-trained and while heโs still a puppy, crate training should come easily for him. Having been in a home recently, weโve learned a lot about Goose. He enjoyed the company of another dog and was quite curious about the resident cats, which shows he could thrive in a multi-pet home. Goose balances his easy-going nature with a playful spirit, making him a great companion for volunteers and family alike. A sweet snuggler, he lays his head gently on laps, turning any quiet moment into a cozy experience. During a recent adventure with volunteers, Goose showed he could ride well in the car after a little help getting in. He excelled on a 2-mile leash walk, showing off his calm demeanor even amidst distractions like bikes and other pets. Plus, he loved indulging in a pup cup afterward! His playful side is delightful to witness, especially when he entertains himself with an array of toys, particularly his favorite green piggy. Daily play and exercise are essential for Goose, alongside continued training, as he learns to navigate the world. Based on our evaluations, he would thrive best in homes with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. Goose might also enjoy a companion animal and weโre happy to facilitate introductions.
