Jethro
AvailableJethro is a young, male bloodhound weighing in a large size. His short, bicolor coat adds to his unique appearance. Already altered and vaccinated, he is house trained, needing someone to help him develop his confidence further. Jethro is currently in Troy, MO, and is ready to find a loving home. His gentle, friendly demeanor makes him a great companion.
About Jethro
Jethro is a sweet, shy dog looking for his forever home. Having had limited interaction with people, he needs someone who will spend time with him and help him build confidence. Previously relinquished, he and his brother Wadi roamed a bit too freely, which has contributed to Jethro's reserved nature. Fortunately, he has a gentle demeanor and is making progress with training and leash walking. Jethro gets pretty excited around horses but is not a nuisance barker; he reserves his barks for moments of genuine excitement. Whether he’s enjoying the sunshine or lounging in a dog bed, Jethro loves to relax. He's eager for treats but maintains his manners and doesn’t push to get what he wants. This large boy gets along well with other dogs, but he will thrive with one-on-one time to help him bond with his new owner. He has a unique coat that isn’t the typical short, oily fur of a bloodhound, making him even more charming. Jethro is a lovely dog ready to form a meaningful connection.
