About Pongo

Meet Pongo, a remarkable boy you might remember from his time wandering the streets of South Dallas with his buddy Opal. When he arrived, he had a severe eye infection, but thanks to proper care, he is now fully healed and ready to thrive. Pongo has a playful spirit and gets along fantastically with other dogs. He adores spending time with his humans—whether it’s playtime or snuggling on the couch. While he does tolerate cats, he sees them more as potential playmates than anything else! Pongo is still gaining confidence, especially around hardwood floors and during car rides, which can be a bit daunting for him. However, his journey of discovery in his foster home has been heartwarming to witness. Watching him learn what it means to feel safe and loved has been incredible.
