About Gibbs

Gibbs is a lively female puppy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She’s around 5 months old, having arrived at Cheboygan County Humane Society as an unclaimed stray alongside her brother, Goff. While her exact breed is a mystery, her friendly demeanor is clear. This puppy enjoys meeting new people and making friends. She thrives on playtime and is eager to explore her surroundings. Although she's still getting the hang of walking on a leash, our staff is dedicated to helping her learn. Gibbs has interacted well with other dogs, requiring only a meet-and-greet for potential canine companions. We anticipate she’ll grow into quite a sizable dog, already nearing 40 pounds. Families seeking a smaller pup might want to look elsewhere. As a young dog, she’ll benefit from guidance in potty training, leash manners, and basic commands, all of which will require consistency and patience. Despite needing her spay surgery, Gibbs is ready to meet her forever family. She deserves the chance to grow up surrounded by love and support, making memorable moments and adventures with her own family. Could you be the one to make her wish come true? Come meet Gibbs and see if she’s the right fit for your family!
