About Cookie Butter

Meet Cookie Butter, a lovable 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing in at 65 pounds of sweetness. Saved from euthanasia, she’s now thriving in foster care and ready to find her forever home. Cookie Butter is a cuddly giant, completely housebroken, and quite vocal about her potty needs. She’s also crate-trained, doing well when her people are nearby, and she’ll whine if left alone — but no damage or escaping here. Her energy level is moderate; she loves to play but takes cuddling just as seriously. With decent leash skills, she might pull a bit when excited, yet she works for treats and shows no food aggression. Not only is she well-mannered when left alone, but she also made quite the fashion statement after her spay, rocking a shirt! She adores people and is gentle and affectionate with everyone she meets. While she’s had positive encounters with dogs, her dynamic with cats is currently unknown, so a feline-free home is preferred. Foster reports indicate that she’s wonderful with children, though families may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Cookie Butter is on a journey from an underweight stray to a cherished companion, and all she needs now is a loving family to call her own. Located in Philadelphia, PA, she’s looking for someone who can appreciate the sweet, loving spirit that she brings. Ready to adopt this wonderful girl? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
