About Ruger

Ruger is an energetic 8-month-old who hasn't had formal training yet. He does well on a leash, though getting it on can be a bit of a challenge. This large puppy, weighing in at 78 pounds, will thrive in an active home that can teach him proper manners. Ruger loves to jump for attention and enjoys playful games like squeezing between your legs before dashing around the shelter and playing keep away. Despite his playful spirit, he's not aggressive or destructive; he just has a lot of puppy energy. However, his eagerness means he might accidentally knock over small children, so a home with older kids is preferable. Ruger's sweetness shines through, and with the right guidance, he will grow into a wonderful companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
