About Marian

Marian has some exciting news to share! She is completely cured of her hyperthyroidism, thanks to the I-131 radiation treatment. At the end of August, just before her treatment, her T4 level was 10.6. Now, 30 days out from her stay at NuCat Feline Hyperthyroid Clinic, her T4 is down to 1.1! This means we are ready to start taking adoption applications for her! Quick facts about Marian: 1. She LOVES to snuggle (just check out her attempts to share a collarbone with her foster mom). 2. She is declawed on all four paws, so her future adopter should be aware of her potential for arthritis, a common side effect of declawing. 3. Marian is very interested in other cats. While she’s not aggressive, her social skills could use some work. She would thrive in a home with a chill, confident cat who won’t match her energy or as the only cat. 4. She is about 10 years old, a chatty companion, and boasts the best purr motor. Marian’s adoption fee is $75; she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and FIV/FELV negative.
