About Imani

Meet Imani! Imani and her sister, Katia, were rescued by a compassionate farmer who found them abandoned on his property. They were in dire need of care, which led to their rescue by the Humane Society of Oldham County. Imani faced a tough start, battling a severe Upper Respiratory Infection that caused fever and affected her eyes, nose, and throat. Thanks to the dedication of her fosters, Imani received crucial daily feedings and hydration treatment. Slowly but surely, she began to heal, and now, she has transformed into a joyous, playful kitty. Imani’s personality shines as she revels in playing with ball towers, feather toys, and cat trees. She’s affectionately described as "adorkable," often flopping over for belly rubs and seeking out cuddles. If you catch her gaze, you’ll find it hard to resist giving her all the love she craves. Imani thrives with other cats and will need a Forever Family that includes a feline companion. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, having tested negative for FIV and FeLV. While she has a slightly weaker immune system and experiences watery eyes, she is still a kitten at heart, bright and full of energy. A little L-Lysine in her meals helps support her immune health.
