About Oscar

Oscar is a delightful baby kitten who has just arrived at our shelter from a partner organization. As a Domestic Short Hair, he’s a bundle of energy and curiosity. With his lovely brown and chocolate coloring, he is ready to explore the world around him. Since he's still in his early stages of life, patience and training will be key as he learns how to fit into his new home. It's essential to provide him with positive socialization experiences over the next few months to shape him into a well-adjusted adult cat. If you’re considering adopting Oscar, be prepared to engage with him through gentle handling and to introduce him to various sounds and environments. This will help him build confidence and become accustomed to living with humans and potentially other animals. This process is crucial to ensuring he develops good behavior traits as he matures. If you feel Oscar might be the right fit for your family, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Remember, our adoption process runs on a first-come, best-match basis, and we encourage same-day adoptions once a suitable match is made! Your adoption fee covers Oscar's neutering, microchip, vaccinations, and a small bag of food to start you off. Don’t wait—Oscar is ready for a loving home where he can thrive!
