About Mojo

Meet Mojo! She's the world's cuddliest German Shepherd. After being surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Houston, Mojo was on the euthanasia list, but thanks to some dedicated volunteers and an amazing foster family, she got a second chance at life. Since coming into rescue, Mojo has undergone FHO surgery and tackled recovery like a champion. No matter the challenge, she's kept a joyful spirit that lights up her foster home. She thrives on company and loves participating in every aspect of life, whether it's a road trip, leisurely neighborhood stroll, or just hanging out on the couch. Mojo is the ultimate companion and loves her people fiercely. While she may express her happiness with affectionate little nibbles, her love for humans is undeniable. Mojo gets along well with other dogs after proper introductions and has also shown respect towards kittens in her foster home. She's not a fan of the dog park scene, preferring a quieter space where she can shine. This medium-energy girl would love a yard but has adapted well to apartment living as long as she gets her outdoor time. She is potty trained and does well when left loose in the house—no destructive tendencies here, just couch lounging while she waits for you. Mojo walks nicely on a leash and is a pro at making new friends. However, she may bark at passing dogs. At roughly 3 years old and weighing around 61 lbs, Mojo is spayed, fully vetted, and ready to find her forever home. She's currently in Houston, but she can be transported to various areas across the country. Her adoption fee is $600, which includes transportation.
