About Pablo

Meet Pablo, a spirited 3-year-old Bulldog and Pointer mix weighing in at 85 lbs. This loving boy enjoys car rides, long walks, and running, but his favorite pastime is cuddling up close to his people. Despite his size, he believes he’s a lap dog, often settling at the foot of the bed for a cozy nap. Pablo gets along well with children, making him a great family companion. However, he isn’t suited for homes with small dogs, and his compatibility with larger dogs remains unclear. He’s not known to get along with cats either. Given his sensitive nature, he may be nervous around loud noises and certain men, so he would thrive in a patient home that understands his need for boundaries. Pablo has a history that suggests he might have experienced abuse, so an experienced adopter is crucial to support him in building trust. Treats and positive reinforcement will be key in winning his heart. Currently, Pablo is vaccinated and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and he is scheduled to be neutered. If he is adopted before this appointment, proof of arrangements with a veterinarian will be necessary. An understanding and responsible home that is committed to keeping Pablo safe is essential.
