About Brunson

Meet Brunson, named after the NYC hero and 2026 NBC champion, Jalen. This black and white tuxedo guy boasts a unique coloring that sets him apart. Brunson is strong and handsome, with a bit of a scrappy side. He’s curious and affectionate too. At first, he might appear cautious, but before you know it, he’ll be cuddled up next to you during movie night. He enjoys being close but also relishes his own cozy cat bed. Each morning, he’s the first to run over and greet you with enthusiasm. He gets along well with his step-sibling, Jerry, despite being a tad older and larger. Brunson plays gently, console him after Jerry's neutering by laying beside him and grooming him, showcasing his sweet nature. He quickly warms up to visitors, accepting gentle pets in just a few days. Once you start petting him, expect a gentle purr and an invitation for a back scratch, complete with a soft head butt in return. He’s not fond of being picked up, so give him time to warm up. With a little patience, he’ll become your perfect couch buddy. Brunson also loves perching by windows to observe the world outside, so providing a nice cat tree will keep him happily entertained. We only adopt to homes in New Jersey, ideally within an hour of North Bergen. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
