About Heidi

Meet Heidi, a gentle soul currently at the Scott County Animal Shelter. She's still finding her way in the world and tends to be a bit unsure about new experiences. Although her tail gives a wag when she sees you, she needs some time to adapt. Having spent most of her life in a farm environment, Heidi has interacted well with other dogs, cats, and even poultry, making her a friendly addition to a multi-pet household. She is not comfortable on a leash yet and will require a fenced yard for safe play. Heidi is around the baby stage, which means she has plenty of time to grow and adjust with loving guidance. She will be spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped before heading to her new home. Heidi gets along well with children, dogs, and cats, making her a perfect family pet.
