About Basil
Meet Basil! Basil has journeyed from abandonment to a brighter future. When he was found, a tattered piece of rope around his neck was all that remained of his past. He was alone and scared, unsure if anyone would come for him. Fortunately, he was rescued. With the rope removed and his fears easing, Basil shines with a healthy coat and bright eyes. At around six months old, he’s now in a loving foster home where he thrives alongside two children, ages 3 and 6. This little guy is not just cute; he’s smart and eager to learn. He already knows how to kennel up, go potty on cue, sit, and lay down. Plus, he walks well on a leash and delights in splashing around in water. Basil can be quite vocal when he wants attention, so he’ll need a family with the time to connect with him. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive with a canine buddy, whether calm or energetic. His transformation from a neglected pup to a promising companion is remarkable, and he’s eager to embrace a life filled with love and security. Basil’s adoption fee is $550 and includes transport to the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
