About Ziko

Ziko embarked on a remarkable journey from Egypt to the United States earlier this year. As a street cat back home, he suffered a cruel injury that led to the amputation of his tail, but he sports the cutest little nub as a reminder of his resilience. Now about 3 years old, Ziko is a sweet and affectionate cat, though he can be a bit shy, particularly around unfamiliar people. He relishes gentle pets on his head but takes his time warming up to full-body affection. With his soft, beautiful fur, Ziko enjoys lounging on the couch with a heating pad, cuddling by his foster mom's side, observing birds outside, and chasing any toy that catches his attention. Ziko gets along well with other cats and would be happiest in a home with another friendly feline companion, though he could thrive as the only cat with plenty of love and attention. He would do best in a calm, quiet household with a patient adopter who understands that he may need time to acclimate to a new environment. Ziko is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Ready to meet Ziko? Hit apply and let's get started!
