Colita is a charming 4-year-old Chihuahua who brings a gentle spirit to any home. Though shy at first, she has a growing affection for her foster dad and enjoys cuddling up next to him after she's warmed up. Her playful side is shining through, especially as she learns to play with the other small dog in her foster home. This little one prefers to approach people at her own pace, so patience is key. She will seek you out when you’re seated and relaxed, and may even hop up for some cozy snuggles. Colita thrives in a calm environment and would do well with a confident canine buddy to help her adjust to new surroundings. Spanish words may provide familiarity and comfort as she navigates her new life. Colita is currently working on her house training, which requires a consistent routine. While she will potty outside with reminders, she will need guidance to learn how to ask when she needs to go. If you’re looking to build trust with a sweet little companion, Colita could be your perfect match. Her adoption fee is $250, and you’ll need to meet her in person if you’re within the Kansas City metro area. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
