Caramella is a 3.5-year-old female Retriever/Shepherd mix, weighing in at a healthy 58 lbs. After a tough start as a young mom, Caramella survived an emergency surgery that not only saved her but also allowed her puppies to find loving homes of their own. Now, it’s her turn. This affectionate girl loves gentle belly rubs and enjoys having her beautiful blonde coat brushed. She’s practically house trained and delights in taking long walks. Though she hasn’t lived with kids, she has shown great behavior around older children during her outings. Caramella prefers to be your only dog at home since she didn’t get along well with other dogs in her previous foster home. While she's okay around them in a dog park, she would thrive as the solo companion in a loving home. Often described as a couch potato, Caramella is happiest curling up for a nap, making her an ideal match for someone who is away during the day. This sweet girl is ready for a loving home of her own!
