Meet Kevin, a delightful 6-month-old hound and heeler mix who weighs 29 pounds. He, along with his sister Karen, was discovered abandoned on a farm in rural Batesville, MS, where they were found with their ailing mother. Tragically, their mom couldn’t survive her health struggles. We've promised these sweet pups a better future filled with love. Kevin is currently in foster care and is eagerly awaiting a chance to travel north to Pennsylvania to find a family. Kevin is gentle, affectionate, and truly enjoys being around people, including children. He's friendly and playful with every dog he's met, making him an excellent candidate for a family dog. Although he’s started working on house training and is doing well, Kevin is still a puppy and will need patience as he learns. He’s also crate trained and is improving with leash walking. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for him to run and play freely. Kevin is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
