About Dr. Cowtiki

Meet Dr. Cowtiki! This 2.5-3 year-old longhaired Chihuahua weighs 23 lbs and is neutered, ready for his forever home. While he gets along with small dogs, his feelings about larger dogs, cats, and children remain a mystery. He's currently working on potty training. Dr. Cowtiki, along with five other Chihuahuas, has a reported history of seizures but has not received treatment before arriving at the shelter. Weโ€™ve observed seizures in two of the six dogs, and weโ€™re closely monitoring their activity to assess the need for medication. It's crucial that any adopter collaborates with their veterinarian to create a personalized plan based on his behavior and adjustments in a new environment. Appointments are recommended for meet-and-greets since many of our dogs are in foster care. Our adoption fees cover vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing, and more. All pets leave our shelter either in a carrier or on a leash for safety. Dr. Cowtiki is ready to find a loving home that understands his needs. Click apply to start the adoption process.
