After some grooming and care, he now sports a sleek dark gray look that accentuates his gentle disposition. He’s housetrained and enjoys car rides, proving to be a good eater even after a rough start. While initially unsteady on his feet, he’s improving as he’s weaned off Gabapentin. Though he has an unusual gait due to a front right limp, it doesn’t hinder his enthusiasm for walks; he joins his foster siblings for regular outings throughout the day. Winn Dixie is fine being in a crate when you’re away and prefers to sleep next to you at night. He's working on his reactions to squirrels and small dogs, as he tends to pull and cry when he sees them. Additionally, he likes to hold court on the sofa and needs to be the only dog up there.
