About Carbon

Carbon is a delightful little kitten, embodying the sweetness everyone hopes for in a furry friend. With a calm and gentle demeanor, she enjoys moments of quiet contemplation, gazing into your eyes and soaking in her surroundings. She’ll happily settle on your lap or sneak off for a solo nap when the mood strikes. Don’t let her serene side fool you; she’s also full of playful kitten energy, racing around with her siblings during playtime. Her lovely short coat features unique stripes that add to her charm, and we’re hopeful they will stay vibrant as she grows. After being rescued during NYCW Climate Week, Carbon carries a name that reflects a commitment to climate solutions. Carbon needs to be adopted with another young feline, as this ensures her social skills are nurtured and avoids the risk of Single Kitten Syndrome. Currently, she is available for foster-to-adopt, as her veterinary care is not yet complete. Carbon is scheduled to be fully vetted by November 6. Adopters will collaborate with the rescue to transport her for 1-2 appointments and finalize paperwork once she is ready. Right now, she is parasite-free and up to date with half of her vaccinations.
