About Pamuk

Meet Pamuk, a Turkish Angora sweetheart in search of his forever home. This fluffy white boy is about 1.5 years old, and his name means “cotton” in Turkish, which perfectly describes his soft coat and lovely green eyes. Pamuk's journey began on the streets of Türkiye, where he was rescued with a fractured left front leg. After receiving veterinary care and a pin to stabilize his injury, he has healed beautifully and now enjoys life on all four paws. Pamuk is deaf, so he needs a family that understands how he communicates and offers a safe, gentle environment. He may startle easily due to his inability to hear, so approaching him calmly where he can see you is essential. He loves the simple things: eating, napping, and cuddling with his favorite person. While he enjoys his toys, he is content in his own space and doesn’t require a constant feline companion. What he truly seeks is a stable home with a predictable routine where he can feel cherished. An ideal home for Pamuk would be exclusively indoor, calm, and equipped with family members willing to understand his needs. He could thrive as the only cat or with one calm companion. His future family should be committed to annual veterinary checkups and prompt care when needed. Pamuk is up to date on his vaccinations and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. After overcoming a painful injury, Pamuk deserves a loving home where he never has to fend for himself again. He may not hear your voice, but he can still learn your routines and look forward to your presence. Pamuk is currently in Türkiye and once adopted, he will travel to Maryland to meet his new family. If you're looking for a gentle soul and have the space in your heart and home, Pamuk is waiting for you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
