About Liko
Liko's journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Once abandoned and left for dead with her family, she has shown unparalleled resilience. After being rescued, she found a loving home, but circumstances have led her back to us. This remarkable young dog—just over a year old—is ready to claim her forever family. At first, Liko can be shy when meeting new people, but once trust is established, she becomes a loyal companion for life. Crate trained and potty trained, she’s also impressively intelligent and eager to learn. Liko knows commands like sit, stay, and down, and enjoys walks and outdoor adventures. She thrives in an environment filled with structure and people she can trust. With her sunny disposition, Liko loves basking in sunlight and will happily nap in the sunniest spots. Her playful nature shines through as she rolls in mud puddles and embarks on little escapades around the yard, earning her the nickname "Mayhem" from her foster family. Ideal as the only dog, Liko does well with cats and older children who respect her space. She deserves a peaceful and loving forever home where she can find stability. After all she’s been through, Liko is ready for a family that will provide her the love she has always needed. Currently, Liko is in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and she is available for transport within the continental United States. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
