About Moxie

Moxie is an 8-year-old Cocker Spaniel who has come a long way since her days as a breeding mom in a puppy mill. Despite her challenging past, she remains trusting and cheerful. Her ideal adopter should be patient and kind, allowing her the time she needs to adjust to a new home. She’s cute and curious, gradually revealing her quirky personality. Moxie has made significant progress in house training and enjoys going outside by herself. While she gets along well with other dogs, having another dog at home isn’t necessary as long as she receives plenty of attention. She’s also good with cats. Left alone, she loves to explore, showing a peculiar interest in trash over toys for now, although she may learn to appreciate toys over time. Moxie walks well on a leash, especially if other dogs are around to guide her. A fenced yard isn't a must, but she has developed a fascination with squirrels. Easygoing and cuddly, she rarely barks and isn’t driven by food. Moxie will make an excellent addition to any family.
