About Briggs
Briggs found his way into our rescue just in time, pulled from a shelter before his fate was sealed. This large German Shepherd is a healthy, vibrant dog, showcasing the risks of overpopulation and slow adoptions that many face. Briggs is extremely intelligent and has fantastic recall. He’s ecollar trained to correct any unwanted behaviors, and he gets along well with the other dogs here. However, he needs a human who understands his energy and guides him. While he is generally friendly, he can be mildly food aggressive and prefers some space while eating—an understandable request for a dog. Briggs comes neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations, plus he is house and crate trained. Someone undoubtedly invested time in his training, and it shows. After growing leaps and bounds in our care, he deserves a loving home that recognizes his potential. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
